Manipal Health Enterprises, India's largest hospital chain, will launch its much-anticipated ₹9,275 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) next week. The IPO will open for subscription on July 29 and close on July 31 and the company fixed the price band of ₹560 to ₹590.

The IPO will likely be one of the biggest public issues of 2026 and will attract institutional and retail investors as the company is leading in India’s healthcare industry.
IPO Structure
The total issue size is ₹9,275 crore and comprises:
Fresh issue: ₹8,000 crore
Offer for sale (OFS): shares worth approximately ₹1,275 crore by existing shareholders.
Anchor investors will be able to bid on July 28, while the share allotment is expected on August 3. The company's shares will be listed on BSE and NSE on August 5.
How the funds will be used?
Manipal Health intends to use the proceeds from the new issue for balance sheet improvements. A large portion will be used to pay off existing borrowings which will reduce debt. The company also intends to acquire a minority interest in its Sahyadri Hospitals with the rest earmarked for general corporate purposes.

It also said that it is going to expand its healthcare network by adding around 2,400 beds over the next three to four years, further strengthening its presence in the country.
