About Ardee Industries

Ardee Industries was established in 1993 and deals with recycling and recovery of end-of-life batteries and non-ferrous metal scrap. It manufactures high-purity lead and special lead alloys for use in automotive, power backup, telecommunications, and industrial batteries respectively.

Its business is in line with the growing world trend to sustainability, metal recycling, and circular economy, and it is in line with the increasing need for recycled metals.

IPO Subscription & GMP

The IPO has enjoyed strong interest from investors. As of the second day of bidding, the issue was subscribed over 5.5 times, and there was strong participation from non-institutional investors (NIIs) and retail investors.

The GMP has been good for the whole subscription period. The GMP has been positive during the subscription period. Recent reports suggest that GMP indicates a possible listing premium, but the GMP is unofficial and can change before listing. It should not be taken as a guarantee of listing gains.

Ardee Industries IPO Review

Positives. Positioned in the rapidly-growing recycling and circular economy sector and with a lot of demand for lead recycling because of battery consumption. Healthy investor response during IPO. Product portfolio is diverse. Environmental sustainability focus. Risks. Business depends on raw materials availability and lead prices. Commodity price fluctuations may affect margins. Environmental and regulatory compliance needs. Competition from organized and unorganized recycling companies. Should You Apply?

Ardee Industries has an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a niche business with growing focus on recycling and sustainable manufacturing in India. The lead recycling value chain is the company’s business, but subscription figures are also good, so the IPO is attractive for investors with a medium to long-term investment horizon.

However, investors must analyze the company’s valuation (including whether the company is profitable) and its risks in the industry and what kind of investment you’re looking to make before you commit.
