The first public offering (IPO) of Pranav Constructions is scheduled to be launched today, September 7, a busy week for India’s primary market. There are expected to be 11 public issues this week, and the total IPO is expected to raise more than ₹7,000 crore.

The Pranav Constructions IPO is a book-built issue with a total size of ₹351.03 crore. It has a fresh issue of 2.55 crore shares aggregating to ₹315.60 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 28.57 lakh shares worth ₹35.43 crore.
The IPO has attracted attention in the grey market ahead of the IPO opening, with the reported grey market premium (GMP) indicating a premium listing potential. However, investors should keep in mind that GMP is only an unofficial stock indicator of market sentiment and can change rapidly with market sentiment and can even change in one moment or two.
Pranav Constructions IPO GMP
According to Investorgain, the GMP for the Pranav Constructions IPO was at ₹44 late on September 6.
At the upper end of the IPO price band of ₹124 per share, a GMP of ₹44 implies an estimated listing price of around ₹168. Based on these figures, the indicative listing gain works out to about 35.48%.
But the grey market premium is not a sure thing. GMP is not regulated by stock exchanges and can fluctuate before listing. Investors should be considering the company’s financial performance, business model, valuation, risks, and broader market conditions as opposed to just looking at grey-market trends.

Financial Performance
Pranav Constructions reported a financial improvement in FY26. According to the company’s results, revenue grew by 20% year-on-year, while profit after tax (PAT) rose by 15%.
The company's PAT in FY26 was at ₹71.32 crore compared to ₹62.25 crore in FY25 and ₹39.62 crore in FY24. Operating profit also increased with a rise to ₹130.83 crore in FY26 from ₹98.54 crore in FY25 and ₹59.73 crore in FY24.
At the same time, the company's borrowings have also increased. At the end of FY26, total borrowings were at ₹258.44 crore compared to ₹196.50 crore in FY25 and ₹99.34 crore in FY24. The rise in debt is an important factor investors may consider when assessing the company's financial position.
What does Pranav Constructions do?
Pranav Constructions is in the real estate sector; it works mostly on redevelopment projects in the MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai) region. Most of its operations are in Mumbai's western suburbs.
The company undertakes redevelopment projects in various residential categories, including economic, mid-market, and mass-market housing as well as aspirational homes.
At the end of FY26, the project portfolio consisted of 65 redevelopment projects in the MCGM region. 28 projects were completed, 20 were under construction, and 17 were upcoming projects.
The total area covered by these projects was approximately 5.01 million square feet.
For investors considering the IPO, the redevelopment-focused business model, increasing profitability, borrowing levels, and valuation implied by the IPO price will be key factors to evaluate. While the GMP indicates that there is strong market interest, investors must be aware that grey-market indications can change and do not assure listing gains or investment returns.
