Ola Electric Soars 120% in 12 Weeks, Stock Rises Another 10%

Ola Electric’s stock soared 10% on June 9, 2026, continuing its remarkable rally that has seen the company’s shares climb nearly 120% in just 12 weeks. The rapid growth is indicative of the investor confidence in the growth trajectory of the EV maker in the face of robust demand, expansion plans and good market sentiment.

The latest jump pushed Ola Electric’s stock to fresh highs, buoyed by optimism on electric scooter sales and upcoming product launches. In fact, the company consistently delivered good deliveries and its flagship Ola S1 series has taken the lion’s share of India’s EV two-wheeler market. And its aggressive pricing strategy and expanding charging infrastructure have inspired consumers to buy.

Investor interest has also been fuelled by Ola Electric’s plans to penetrate global markets; the company has even been looking to enter SE Asia and Europe, hoping to expand its business out of India. The company’s IPO will also generate the stock's momentum, with investors expecting money raised to invest in global expansion and R&D.

The broader EV industry has benefited from government incentives and fuel prices, making electric mobility more attractive. Ola Electric, one of the largest players in the segment, has been the beneficiary. Vertical integration (battery manufacturing and local supply chain) is seen as a strategic advantage that will keep it profitable in the long run.

But market experts say the stock has grown so fast in Ola Electric’s stock, too fast, that investors are worried about valuation as well. Now that the company’s market capitalization is so large, it’s far above the level of a company’s market value and it cannot be expected to keep up with investors’ expectations of earnings growth at present. There will be some volatility when the stock reaches the IPO stage and its IPO mark.

So Ola Electric’s 10% surge and 120% rally in the past 12 weeks point to the very strong momentum of India’s EV sector with the company’s sales and global reach and upcoming IPO, and the company will set itself up to lead the charge in the electric mobility revolution. And this is great news for investors because we have a huge valuation and execution challenges.
