EPFO Interest Credit 2026: When Will Your PF Interest Be Updated?

The EPFO is still paying interest at 8.25% for FY2025‑26. The members will have credit for the interest between June and September 2026 as government approval and reconciliation of accounts will occur. Subscribers should check their passbooks for the entry “Int. Updated up to 31/03/2026” to confirm credit.

How to Check Interest Credit. EPFO Portal: Log in with UAN → “View” → “Passbook Lite.”

UMANG App: Access passbook and transaction history.

SMS/Missed Call Services: Linked mobile numbers receive updates.

Passbook Entry: “Int. Updated up to 31/03/2026.”

It is very important to be patient although delayed, once reconciliation is complete we always get a share in the interest.
