Titan shares rose almost 2.5% in morning trading after Q1 FY27 earnings were in line with expectations and the strong revenue growth and a sharp improvement in profitability. Titan’s jewellery business provided the backbone of growth and helped to kickstart the financial year, which came in at very strong levels.

Titan reported consolidated net profit of ₹1,777 crore for Q1 FY27 which represents 62.9% year-on-year growth. Revenue also flourished, with consolidated revenue of around ₹21,356 crore, which is about 29% YoY growth. The result was in line with market expectations and supported investor confidence in the company's growth outlook.
The jewellery segment was an important factor in the overall performance. Titan's growth was supported by high consumer demand, festive buying and continued expansion of Titan's jewellery brands. The performance of the jewellery segment is important because it is Titan's biggest business and a major driver of its profits.

The excellent Q1 performance on this front has also raised expectations for Titan’s long-term growth strategy. Management has stated that the company will achieve or potentially exceed its FY30 growth targets with store expansion, brand investments and growth in the jewellery market as well.
