Magnus Steel & Infra Hits 5% Upper Circuit After Q1 Results; Multibagger Stock Still Up Over 400% in One Year

Magnus Steel and Infra Ltd. shares soared 5% in late morning trading on Thursday after it posted strong financial results in Q1 FY27. The company’s strong results were based on dramatic growth of revenue and profit that revived investor interest in the stock despite recent turbulence.

The stock rose nearly 5 percent to ₹52.04 in midday trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Magnus Steel and Infra, by contrast, had been one of the best performers of the day.

Robust Q1 FY27 Earnings

For the quarter ended 30 June 2026, it achieved excellent year-on-year growth.

Financial Highlights
Net Profit: ₹241.13 lakh

Q1 FY26 Net profit: ₹40.83 lakh. YoY growth: 490.6%

Revenue also grew quite well

Revenue from Operations: ₹730.25 lakh. Q1 FY26 Revenue: ₹195.43 lakh. YoY Growth: 273.7%.

The strong performance is a product of increased business activity and better operational execution during the quarter.

Profitability Improves Further

Apart from revenues, the company also had better cost management.

Total expenses fell to ₹489.12 lakh in the June quarter versus ₹561.39 lakh in the March 2026 quarter, which helped to improve profitability on a sequential basis.

Lower operating costs combined with stronger sales contributed to the sharp jump in earnings.

Rights Issue Update

Magnus Steel and Infra also updated shareholders on its proposed rights issue that is in process.

The company informed stock exchanges that its Rights Issue Committee meeting has been postponed because in-principle approval from the stock exchange is still awaited.

Recently, the board approved raising ₹40 crore of equity shares through a rights issue of equity shares.

The company said that the proposed fundraising would aim to:

  • Strengthen the balance sheet.
  • Enhance the company’s capital base.
  • Support future business growth.

The committee meeting will now take place after regulatory approval from the exchange.

Share Price Performance

As soon as earnings were announced, the stock opened at ₹52.03 and quickly touched ₹52.04 and locked in a 5% upper circuit.

Recent Returns
Period    Return
1 Week    -9.95%
1 Month    -37.90%
6 Months    +15.06%
2026 (YTD)    +43.20%
1 Year    +444%

Even though the stock has made a sharp correction in the last month, this stock is still one of the year’s best multibaggers with a more than 400% return in the past 12 months.

What Investors Are Watching

Investors will keep an eye on several developments, with:

  • Progress of the proposed ₹40 crore rights issue.
  • Sustainability of revenue growth.
  • Margin improvement in upcoming quarters.
  • Execution of future business expansion plans.

The company will be held to account for this in terms of earnings momentum after a period of extraordinary growth; continued growth will be very much on the minds of both current shareholders and potential investors.

Outlook

Magnus Steel and Infra’s strong first-quarter performance has increased market confidence as profit and revenue are very strong, which is helping the stock to outperform a weak stock market.

But although recent price volatility has shown the risk of small-cap stocks and multibagger stocks, the company's recent financial results indicate that people are still optimistic about the company’s growth trajectory. In the future, the focus will be on execution, successful capital raising, and continued business growth.
