Netweb Technologies India Ltd. shares were up more than 10 per cent on Monday after the company posted very strong quarter-end financial results. The high-end computing solutions provider posted a 180 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in profit after tax (PAT), reflecting the high demand for AI infrastructure, high-performance computing (HPC) systems, and data centre solutions.

Netweb Technologies had a PAT of Rs 85.32 crore in the second quarter of this year compared to a year ago. Gross sales of the company in the second quarter of this year increased 172 per cent to Rs 819.69 crore, the company's highest quarterly sales figure. Such good earnings generated investor optimism for the stock and drew back new attention.
Sanjay Lodha, CEO and Managing Director of Netweb Technologies, described the quarter as a historical moment for the company. He said the record-breaking revenue and profit numbers were the result of sustained demand momentum and disciplined execution in all business areas. Lodha said India is in the midst of a monumental build-out of AI infrastructure in the context of the IndiaAI Mission, increasing GPU compute requirements, indigenous sovereign foundation models, as well as the demand from cloud service providers and neo-cloud operators.
Lodha said that sovereign AI computing has become a national priority rather than some long-term goal. He said that the move towards domestically designed and manufactured computing infrastructure is creating a long-term demand pipeline for high-end computing systems. He also noted that government initiatives to enable “Build and Design in India” and the general adoption of HPC solutions across enterprises are strengthening the competitive position of Indian technology companies.
Netweb Technologies has become one of India's leading indigenous original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in high-end computing solutions. Its vertically integrated technology and manufacturing capabilities (for design, manufacturing, deployment, and support) have given it the capacity and scale to take advantage of AI-based computing demands. Early investments in AI infrastructure and chip-agnostic design strategy have also opened up new opportunities.
After the good quarter-over-quarter performance, brokerage firms also revised their outlook on the stock and set their target prices. ICICI Securities maintained its BUY rating and set its target price at Rs 5,360 on the basis of better performance, growth visibility, and better profit margin. The brokerage also raised its FY27 and FY28 earnings estimates by 1 to 2 per cent on the back of high expectations for growth in the HPC segment and margin assumptions.
However, ICICI Securities also flagged potential risks: the lumpiness in strategic order execution and margin pressure from supply chain disruption or higher raw material costs, it said. And those factors could take profit into account even with the growth of revenue and market share.
IIFL Capital also maintained its BUY recommendation and set the target price at Rs 5,698. The brokerage stated that good earnings visibility, growth in orders, and demand for AI infrastructure solutions are driving this positive outlook. While Netweb’s working capital cycle is still high in the near term due to the high inventory level, they are required to enable execution due to the fast growth of business opportunities in the near term, according to IIFL Capital.
Much of the overall investment community is still optimistic about the company’s prospects. Industry experts are confident that AI technologies and cloud infrastructure, and the huge demand for advanced computing systems, will continue to present huge opportunities for Netweb Technologies in the future.
Netweb Technologies is well-positioned to take advantage of the growing AI and digital infrastructure in India with a solid order book, growing market demand, and good government policies to encourage the development of domestic technology manufacturing. Investors will now closely watch how the company will convert its expanding opportunities into sustainable revenue growth and long-term value to shareholders.
