The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has started accepting online applications for 244 vacancies in various administrative positions as part of its Recruitment 2026 campaign.

These include Assistant, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Stenographer and a host of other positions in ISRO centres and institutions within the Department of Space.
The recruitment drive provides graduates the chance to join one of India’s largest scientific organisations and receive a central government job with high salaries and benefits.
According to the official notification of the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), the online application process is initiated on 27 July 2026.
Eligible candidates can submit their application through the official recruitment portal until August 16, 2026.
Vacancies Across Multiple ISRO Centres
The selected candidates will be posted in different ISRO institutions in the country.
These include major centres in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Sriharikota, Thiruvananthapuram, Hassan, Mahendragiri , and New Delhi.
The recruitment will be to strengthen ISRO's administrative workforce as the organization expands its space exploration and satellite programs.
Eligibility Requirements
The Assistant and Upper Division Clerk candidates should be able to attend college with a bachelor's degree from a university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Computer knowledge is also required.
In Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer positions, candidates must meet the educational qualifications and demonstrate the required typing and stenography skills mentioned in the recruitment notification.

Selection Process
The recruitment process will be a written test for all eligible applicants. Qualifying candidates for typing or stenography jobs will have to apply for another skill test.

Salary and Benefits
