Elon Musk’s SpaceX IPO Set to Debut on Nasdaq in June 2026

SpaceX will officially launch its IPO roadshow on 4 June 2026, one of the most eagerly awaited IPOs in history. The company will list its Class A common stock on Nasdaq under the ticker SPCX and its IPO price is expected to be $135 and SpaceX will be worth nearly $1.77 trillion with this IPO being one of the largest IPOs ever.

The IPO details show that SpaceX will issue 555,555,555 Class A shares and underwriters can purchase a total of 83,333,333 shares. The company intends to raise $75 billion via the offering. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan and others are leading the process, and the company is going to do well in the market because of the size and importance of the business as a whole.

A unique feature of the SpaceX IPO is that it is a retail IPO. Unlike most IPOs where 5-10% of its shares are only available to the public, SpaceX is going to set aside up to 30% for everyday investors. SpaceX founder Elon Musk has been trying to democratize access to the company’s growth for all and retail investors from the U.S., UK, EU, Australia, Canada, Japan, and South Korea are interested in the company’s growth and will be able to buy shares.

The funds raised will be used to further SpaceX’s ambitious projects, including satellite networks, launch programs and artificial intelligence projects. This IPO is not just about raising money but it also is about cementing SpaceX’s leadership in aerospace innovation and global connectivity.

However, the offering comes with risks. The high valuation has caused analysts to question whether it represents sustainable growth. Regulatory approvals from the SEC are still pending, and the company’s reliance on government contracts and ambitious ventures like Starship and Starlink could leave investors vulnerable.

To conclude, the SpaceX IPO is expected to take place on the stock market in June 2026 after its roadshow. With a record-breaking valuation, record-breaking number of retail buyers and the global interest in this IPO, it will change the face of public offerings. For investors, it’s not only a historic opportunity, but a high-risk bet on Musk’s vision of space exploration and advanced technology.
